I was so tired yesterday. After waking up at 4:00 AM in the morning for three days, and having just about 5 hours of sleep for the past weekend, I was so thrilled at the thought that I can sleep for the whole night as long as I want yesterday.
So, upon arriving home at around 6:30 PM, I just fixed myself a couple of Deviled Egg Sandwiches for dinner, took my medication and vitamins, took off my clothes, and jumped to bed. Literally.
I didn't set my alarm clock for this morning. And I had the most wonderful sleep I can remember.
I loved every minute of it.
Aside from that, nothing new is happening on me. After this week, my summer semester will be two-thirds over. How fast. I am also scheduling my Fall semester, thinking when I would put my office hours, and things like that.
I am also wondering who will be my officemate for next Fall. There are a couple of new teaching assistants and other students who were awarded a teaching position next year, so the currently vacant office space in my room may have a new tenant.
Ok, here is another of my Quito at Night Series. This is the facade of the Church of San Francisco de Quito. If some of you remember, I dined one time at the basement cafe of this church and drank canelazo, the potent native hot alcoholic drink. Enjoy.
