The Illusion of Flight

So I shuffled things around here. I realized that I've been using the last theme I had with the old antique map and all that for about a year and a half now. I changed the previous theme into that antique brown theme back in May 2009, and I have been sick of it. So, for a change, I have changed the theme yet again, and perhaps, this will be my theme for the next year and a half.

The funny thing is that I was looking to other sources regarding themes for Blogger. Nope, I haven't converted to Wordpress yet, since I failed to be convinced when I last asked this question as to whether I should shift or not. So I am staying here in Blogger, for now.

And after spending a futile hour of looking for a good theme, I checked out Blogger's own template designer. And surprisingly, I found something I like. I liked the background (so I didn't have to upload my own) and I found it rather easy to customize without imposing quirky limitations.

So yeah, here's my new style. It's dominated by blues, and the hint of travel. Hopefully, that view will be experienced again by yours truly very soon.

  1. I like this more than the beta version I got to preview earlier. The transparency and contrast for text is much better.

It seems to me that the features you use are quite minimalistic, so it doesn't matter what you are on - Blogger, Wordpress, Typepad, MT or any other standard blogging platform.

  2. Priyank,

Yeah, I felt that the beta version you saw before was a little hard to read: the transparency issue and the font color was a little bit problematic.
