Little Upgrades

I made an online purchase recently. I typically do not buy things that I do not need, so most of the time, when I do shopping, either in person, or online, it is for things that I need, or things that would be nice if I had one.

In this case, I bought a shoe rack, as well as a hair dryer. Online. Yeah, I tend to make a little purchase almost every month. For the first couple of months after receiving my paycheck, I made purchases that were quite necessary. For example, after receiving my first paycheck, I bought a new pair of running shoes, as my then-current ones suddenly had an opening at the sole, and so it was definitely ruined and I needed a new pair.

In another month, I have decided to buy a new winter coat. I needed a coat that isn't as long as my previous one, so I bought a coat that was medium length. It looked more like a jacket than a coat actually.

I don't buy things every paycheck. After all, if I don't need it, why would I buy it?

Anyway, I recently purchased a shoe rack, as well as a hair dryer, online. The total was something around 30 EUR. Not bad. I figured I can use a shoe rack so that my shoes don't crowd the foyer area of my apartment, and that a hair dryer is useful after all.

So there, I made a purchase. It'll be delivered in a few days. I'll just pick it up from the corner store that I told Amazon to deliver to.

  1. I'm not a big consumer in general and I hate buying stuff I don't truly need. But it's nice to "splurge" once in a while on a few practical items!

    1. Zhu,

Oh definitely! Splurge might be too big of a word, but at least the things I buy are something I use quite often!
