I deal with ten thousand things at the same time. Sometimes, I feel like my Inbox is a way better memory storage than my brain. There are days when by the time evening hits, I have forgotten what my morning was. Long story short, life is busy, and one of the things I am slowly learning is figuring out a sustainable way of conserving my bandwidth. Because if I don't, then I'll probably just drop depleted with energy.
The funny thing is I actually like this situation. You know, when they say you work hard and you play hard, this is true. I love what I do, and I love it when I get to tick things off my to-do list. But sometimes there's just too many of them. When people need to get an appointment with me, some of them are shocked when they see my calendar, which is rather full. Lag time is typically one week. Not sure if that is a good thing.
In any case, I suppose what I want to say is that I am trying to figure out how to continue loving what I do, but not too much, so that I don't end up hating what I do. We'll see. That's probably my project for the near future.
