After spending a couple of hours indoors, I headed outside. There's a massive property just lying behind the palace, and it is worth checking out. There's gardens that extend all the way to the horizon, and the property is simply very large to the point that if you really want to explore everything yet you don't have much time, you can actually hire electric vehicles to help speed things up. I on the other hand decided to just walk.
There's so many trees. And there's so many fountains. Unfortunately I visited during the Winter Season, and therefore some of the fountains were turned off, and some of the statues were wrapped up for conservation. However, one can still see the opulent nature of these structures, even with the water not fully running.
These gardens occupy about 800 hectares of land, and are landscaped in the classic French formal style. There's also water all over the place, even large sections that form canals. In any case, this is a great place to explore and meander around during a sunny day. Thankfully, when I was there it wasn't raining when I was outside.
