Good news, boys and girls, in a few months I will be heading to Bilbao!
I was notified that an abstract I worked with together with my student has been accepted for presentation at an upcoming conference, which means that there will be a poster that will be designed soon. This is the second time I am presenting joint work with my student, and I think I like this trend.
I have been to Spain before, but that was only in Catalonia, in 2013. So I am excited to visit another part of Spain, this time, the Basque Country. As a geeky linguist, I am excited to hear Basque, as I have known that this is a linguistic island, a language that doesn't have any relatives around it. That would definitely be interesting.
I am going to Bilbao for work purposes, but hopefully there is enough time to do some sight-seeing as well. We'll see, I'll definitely bring my camera.
