México 2.0: Templo de Santo Domingo in Puebla

I was strolling along the parallel streets of Puebla, when I came across the Dominican church north of the zocalo, which was built between 1650 and 1690. There's one reason to visit this church, and that is to check out the Capilia del Rosario, a very stunning room in this historical building.



The rest of the church doesn't really look unique, and has a very typical design, at times even bare. But this room, once you go to the main altar and then turn left, is just very visually stunning, and kept me looking up, straining my neck even.



This room was just quite fascinating, and a very good example of New Spanish Baroque architecture. Check it out if you have the chance.
