London, Take 2: The City

When we were in London, there was a day when the weather was gloriously superb for us to stay outdoors. So we explored the city, walking all over the place. And one of the areas we ended up in was The City. This area happens to have fancy interesting buildings.

Two interesting structures I have bumped into are the Lloyd's Building (the first two pictures), as well as 30 St Mary Axe. The former is a building completed in 1986, which is a spectacular example of Structural Expressionist architecture. The latter on the other hand is a Neo-futuristic building. Both of these are definitely eye-catching. Unfortunately, there's no opportunity to see the interior.
