Winter is here. Since the beginning of the month, the weather forecast has been rather cold, and the days when the temperature hovers around the single digits, sometimes even going lower than zero, are here. It's time to hibernate, bundle up, and hide within our homes. After all, everything is closed outside, and the weather isn't hospitable. So there's nothing to do.
Back in November, sometimes the weather was still warm enough that one can take long walks. That basically was my holiday. However, that is harder to do in December. So I am taking less walks, and instead finding myself bundled up with blankets at home, watching TV or reading my book. The days are rather short, so it's rather gloomy. It's not the best weather, but that's probably obvious.
Anyway, I am hoping that things go better from this point forward. Hopefully the vaccine slowly gets rolled out, and the infection rates slowly go down. But in the meantime, we are still in lockdown. The lockdown measures have been prolonged here in Germany, as it has been extended all the way to January. It's gonna be a dark couple of months ahead, though hopefully there's light at the end of the tunnel.
