I didn't realise that there are two Church of Ireland cathedrals in Dublin. I visited the Christ Church Cathedral earlier, but I also went ahead and checked out the Saint Patrick's Cathedral, which was nearby but further south.
Saint Patrick's Cathedral was founded in the 12th century originally as a Catholic cathedral, but somehow it became a Church of Ireland cathedral later on. And another unusual thing is that it is very rare to have two cathedrals in a city, but Dublin is special in that way.
Of course, every typical feature of a cathedral can be found. But aside from that, I also saw interesting archaeological elements, such as the remains of a Celtic cross. There are also quite a bit of busts and other statues. In any case, there is an audio guide that one can use during the visit, and one can simply walk through the area following the guide, to learn about the various points of interest within the church.
