After visiting Baeza for the morning, we then drove to Úbeda. This is a short drive away, and our first objective was lunch.
We found an amazing tapas bar, which I definitely enjoyed. And afterwards, we simply walked around, enjoying the Old Town. Like Baeza, Úbeda has plenty of Renaissance buildings, and strolling through its historic town centre was definitely a pleasure.
As it was the afternoon, the entire city was more or less having a siesta. After lunch, things would more or less close, and only open around 4-5 PM. We figured we didn't really feel like entering a museum, as there was no particular museum in Úbeda that we felt was a must-see. So instead, we took the chance to explore the outdoors, by meandering through Úbeda's historic streets, checking out the scenery. And it was mystical, to some extent.
After a few hours, we slowly made our way back to the car. Úbeda definitely is a picturesque town, and if you have the chance, you definitely have to check it out.
