Yes, I went to the Lara Croft Temple. After visiting Pre Rup, I hailed a motorbike who took me to Ta Prohm, which was a short ride away.
The unfortunate thing is that it was already sort of mid-morning. And there were plenty of people already. After all, everyone and their grandmother wanted to take a photo of them with the large tree roots enveloping the ruined buildings. But I still managed to find interesting shots without the people.
It's fascinating to see these trees and their gigantic roots, growing and overpowering the ancient structures. The authorities have made considerable effort to preserve things, so not every corridor of this temple is accessible. Some of the gigantic roots have also been supported by additional woodwork, so that they don't collapse.
This was a rather crowded affair, but in any case I still had fun. And after exploring it thoroughly, I slowly headed out to the exit, called a tuktuk, and headed back to my hotel. It was getting hot, after all.
