Before I left Cambodia, I saw one thing that was not related to Angkor. I checked out this modern temple in the middle of Siem Reap, the Wat Preah Prom Rath.
I saw similar structures
when I was in Bangkok awhile ago. I suppose Buddhist temples have some similarity within them, and so I saw similar designs when I visited this temple in Siem Reap
I saw creepy sculptures right outside the building, and I wondered what the background of it was. In any case, it was an interesting exploration during the time I was there. I spent some time admiring the various aspects of the building. There were murals on the walls, as well as the typical central core with interesting objects that are displayed and worshipped.
After checking this out, it was time to leave. I headed to the airport, to catch a flight back to Vietnam. I was flying to Da Nang.
