E10 in Brandenburg: Nassenheide to Löwenberg (17 km)

I suppose it is no surprise that the farther one goes away from the city, the harder it is to reach destinations with public transport. This statement is true with this leg, hence I am not too fast in progressing in my northward progress on the E10. In any case, one Friday, I took the RB12 from Berlin Ostkreuz, which took me to Nassenheide, a village north of Berlin. From here I picked up the E10 once again.

The recommended route is actually northwards, going to Liebenberg and then onwards to Zehdenick. However, this was a very long stretch, clocking in at 27 kilometres. I decided to be slightly more leisurely this time, and so I headed west from Liebenberg and onwards to Löwenberg, which conveniently has a train station. In between I saw plenty of farmland.

This is definitely a rural area. At some point I even saw deer, watching me from the dark forest. I didn't head where it was, but I suppose if I did, it would run away as fast as it can.

I saw plenty of animals, aside from deer. I saw cows behind an electric fence at some point. They seem to be amused at me, as I was passing through. In any case, I didn't bother them obviously.

In the end, I reached the train station of Löwenberg. There are regular trains to Berlin from this station, so I picked one up which took me to Berlin after a short ride.
