A Weekend in Wrocław

Back in August, I opted to spend a weekend in Wrocław. At that time, I felt that my last holiday was already a while back, while the upcoming holiday was still a few weeks ahead, and I wanted a little escapade in between. So I opted to do a weekend in Wrocław, which was nearby.

I booked a train ticket on a Friday afternoon, which allowed me to arrive in Wrocław by evening. I had a quick dinner before heading to my hotel.

On Saturday, I spent the day outside. It was warm, yet nevertheless not too oppressive. I checked out the Old Town, as well as the Cathedral. I saw the numerous Wrocław Dwarves which can be seen all over town. And I explored the numerous parks and gardens in the city. I also explored the Centennial Hall, which was quite fascinating.

On Sunday, it was slightly cooler, and I further explored the vast green areas of the city in the eastern side. I also checked out a Japanese garden. And I also visited the National Museum, seeing local pieces of art, both historical and modern.

Finally, on Monday morning, I made my way back to Berlin, and headed directly to work.

Photos will follow, of course, so stay tuned.
