One of the other things we did was spend an afternoon in the Ian Potter Centre. This is an art gallery focusing in Australian art and culture, located in the heart of Melbourne. I was told that it is the world's first major gallery exclusively devoted to Australian art.
I actually went to the Information Booth to ask which art gallery or museum I should visit, given that I was visiting from overseas, and there were several National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) buildings nearby. I was told that if I wanted to see art from Australia, then this is the place to be. So we visited. And it was also a great plus that they have free entry.
The above are just some of the artefacts that we have seen. They were absolutely fantastic. It featured artists from all over the continent, and it actually was an opportunity for me to get to know better this part of the world, which I do not do too often.
After some time, we slowly made our way to the exit, and continued exploring the city.
