We wanted to spend the day in Piraeus. The weather was fantastic, after all. So after checking out this Orthodox cathedral, we continued our walk outside.
Piraeus is where one would want to be when catching a ferry or a cruise. It is the port of Athens, and there were plenty of large ships that were docked at the harbour. However, we didn't want to go in that direction. We wanted to check out the smaller marinas, where the smaller boats and nice yachts were parked.
We strolled around Piraeus for the entire day, and we also had a fantastic seafood lunch. While gazing at these fancy boats owned by rich people. I suppose they have a totally different lifestyle from the one that I know.
Eventually, we headed back, but this time we didn't take the metro. Instead, we took the seaside tram and slowly explored the surrounding neighbourhoods, as well slowly made our way back to our apartment.
