Grand Conclusion

So, another semester just ended. I am happy. And I am pleased at where I am right now.

I held my final class today. I gave my last test, and some people also turned in their final exams as well. Some of my students told me that they liked the class very much, that it was the first time that they encountered a professor who actually wanted their students to learn.

I guess that made my day. If one has a student who actually appreciates your effort, then that just makes you happy.

So, in a weird sense, I am actually a little bit sad to see this semester end, given the fact that I enjoyed it. But then, all good things must come to an end, and, the show must go on, and we should all go forward.

People are graduating, people are moving out, and people are coming in. The air smells of change. New faces will appear, and old ones will fade out. It's just like that, time, after all, is not only linear, it is cyclical as well.

So there, with that in mind, my semester is heading for closure. I only need to finish this grading, and submit my grades, and I am done. I don't have anything else to worry about for my other classes. So there, I am totally ready to fly now. I cannot wait.
