I explored Iguazu Falls for a second day. This time, I opted to cross the border from Argentina into Brazil, in order to check out the waterfalls from the other side. So in the morning, there was a car that was waiting for me in front of my hotel, who took me across the border, which allowed me to join the tour that eventually took me to the Brazilian national park.
Looking back, I guess it's actually a good idea to first start exploring the Brazilian side, and then explore the Argentinian side. But oh well, it was fun nonetheless. The thing is, the Brazilian side gives you the best panoramic views, which definitely give you a great first impression. And when that first impression is done, you can then go explore the waterfalls up close and personal in the Argentinian side.
The Brazilian side involves a trail that slowly gives you a panoramic view of the waterfalls. As you go down the trail, the view on your right side becomes larger and larger, slowly revealing the waterfalls. And at the end of the trail, there is a massive curtain of water falling down. It's a good thing that I brought my rain jacket, as it was absolutely useful during this visit.
The massive curtain of water that is very close to you at the very end is absolutely stunning. You will get wet. And it is an amazing thing. For some people, it was not enough, so they had the opportunity to ride a speedboat to get very close to the splashing water.
Overall, I enjoyed my time here in Puerto Iguazu. I must say this is perhaps one of the prettiest places I have seen here on earth. If you're ever in Argentina or Brazil, this is an absolutely stunning place to visit. I spent a total of four days here and it was definitely fun.
