Sometimes, life is complicated. Sometimes, life throws you lemons. Most of the time, these lemons are small. But sometimes, these small lemons get thrown at you all at the same time, and sometimes you wonder, whether life is playing a joke at you. I mean, it could have been nice if these lemons are thrown at a predictable pace, but every now and then, after a long lemon-less period, then there's a period where all the accumulated lemons get thrown at you.
Individually, these problems would have been peanuts. But sometimes, they all happen at the same time, and you'd be scratching your head thinking what the heck is happening. I mean, in the recent past, within the span of two weeks, I had a cold. Then, my eyeglasses (which was 7 years old) broke unexpectedly. And I had a dental issue which ended up being a non-issue (a minor burn due to naivete or stupidity), but uncovered a potential issue. And I also fainted, which resulted in a small trip to the emergency room. Oh, and my clothes seem to be too big for me now, now that I have lost some weight. And on top of that, I have a business trip, which I would have escaped from, if I can.
Yes, all of these are first-world problems. Yes, I probably should slow down a bit. Maybe that's just that. There's too many things going on, and partly they're also due to my own actions. I should have gotten a new pair of glasses once they were 5 years old. Yes, my clothes are too big for me, but given that I have lost weight, ultimately, this is also a good thing.
Oh well, I just make a list of things I need to do. And I tackle them one at a time.
