The Indochina Adventure: Paradise Cave

After visiting Phong Nha Cave in the morning, I visited Paradise Cave in the afternoon. This was also fantastic.

It was perhaps the largest cave I have seen so far. It was definitely huge, and as we descended through the staircases, I was amazed at the depth that one has to go down to see the entire thing.
Unlike Phong Nha Cave, Paradise Cave is dry. There is a system of platforms that we had to walk inside, but nevertheless there was no underground river that flows through it. The course is long, but nevertheless as there were so many fascinating things to see inside, it never felt monotonous, and eventually I reached the end, and from there, I just slowly made my way back.

This actually concludes my travelogue for my second Vietnam visit, together with my excursion to Cambodia. After Dong Hoi, I flew back to Ho Chi Minh City, where I spent two more nights. I got food poisoning and so I didn't explore much more, and eventually I flew back home via Dubai. Stay tuned, there's another travelogue coming up.
