The Australian Adventure: Abbotsford Convent

On one of the other days when we had a car, we went to Abbotsford Convent. This is just outside of Melbourne's Central Business District.

The Abbotsford Convent is a remarkable arts, culture, and learning precinct located in Abbotsford, Melbourne. It's known for its stunning heritage buildings, beautiful gardens, and vibrant community atmosphere. When we arrived, we just parked the car at the parking lot and started exploring.
We spent a few hours exploring the entire place. The gardens were pretty, and the former convent building is now functioning as an arts centre. Several artists actually have their studios and offices there, and sometimes they are open for visitors to check out their works. I also checked out the nice cafe that was on the grounds, and what they say about Australian coffee is true. Coffee was fantastic.

This was the last thing we saw in Melbourne. Eventually, we packed up our stuff, checked out of our apartment hotel, and went to the airport, to catch a flight to Sydney.
